Fai Bene

by Franko B

The collection was born from an encounter with Franko B, performance artist and key figure of the Body Art movement of the 90’s.

FAI BENE Collection delivers the aesthetic sense of the artist in unisex items inspired by his creative imagination: the cross, the chair, the heart, the house, and faces. These icons symbolically reflect the artist’s own difficult past, his bitter personal experience, in a process where art and life come together without ever indulging in self-reference or stereotypes.

FAI BENE Collection emerges from this process with a message of pure and universal love, a call to act with respect towards oneself and ones’ neighbour:

“Be who you want to be.
Follow your heart and your art”

Embossed silk-screen printing adds depth and tri-dimensionality to soft and voluminous silhouettes. Customised buttons designed by the artist and hand-embroidered with thick threads are a hallmark of the collection and echo the work of Franko B.
